Shirley Ann Reynolds
November 16th, 1954 - March 15th, 2023
Shirley Ann Reynolds entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 15, 2023. Her passing was peaceful and her family is comforted with the knowledge that she went to sleep only to wake up in heaven, welcomed home by Jesus' loving arms and reunited with loved ones who have gone before. Shirley was gifted with sixty-eight years of life and the treasure of a large and precious family. Born November 16, 1954, to parents Mary and Arthur DeGarmo, Shirley was the fourth of ten children, including six sisters and three brothers. She was little sister to Vicky DeGarmo, Lolita (William) Terrell, and Arthur DeGarmo, and big sister to Diane DeGarmo, Leonard DeGarmo, Ronald Templer, Annette Templer, Mary Glowatz, and Jeannie Chamberlain. Shirley married the love of her life, Ronald Wayne Reynolds, and was blessed with a large family of her own including four daughters and three sons. Daughter Jeannie and husband Matthew Ortega (grandchildren: Josiah, Jenasis, Jemi, Moriah, Jeremiah, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Eden). Daughter Misty and husband Isaias Hernandez Jr (grandchildren: Samantha, Isaias, and Mercedes). Son Ronnie and wife Charlene Reynolds (grandchildren: Angelica, Angelina, and Christiana). Son Wayne and wife Olivia Reynolds (grandchildren: Timothy, Wayne Jr., Antonina, and Faith). Son Justin and wife Michelle Reynolds (grandchildren: Justin Jr., Journie, Justina, Jewelia, Alexander, and Amaziah). Daughter Beatrice and husband Nuey Leyva (grandchildren: Ineciea, Nautica, Ronnie, Anthony, and Promise). Daughter Star and husband Claude Espinoza (grandchildren: Kara, Claude, Aryanna, and Ryder). She was blessed with fifteen great-grandchildren. Shirley loved her siblings, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was immensely loved in return. She was especially grateful for her best friend, companion, and caregiver Ernie Maldanado. Shirley's children thank their Papa for being her best friend and always being there for Mom, Ineciea, and Nautica for anything and everything. Thank you, Ernie, for all that you have done and continue to do. We love you! Shirley will be remembered for her smile and the smile she brought to her family and friends. She had a bright and beautiful smile that lit up her eyes and a hearty laugh that was contagious. If she were in a crowded room you could easily spot her. She would be the one with the biggest smile. She loved to rhyme her words and lived to make jokes. If you weren't smiling when you entered her presence, you would be smiling by the time you left. The gift of laughter carried her through the hardest of times and she kept smiling and laughing to the end. Though your smile is gone temporarily, And your hand we cannot touch Still we have so many memories Of the one we loved so much. Your memory is our keepsake With which we will never part God has you in his keeping We have you in our hearts. We love you Mom, Nana, Sister, and Best Friend Though our fellowship has been broken for a season We will see you again! Cemetery Details Ft. Logan National Cemeter 3698 S.
