Shirley Ann Roberts, 86, passed away November 20th at home, surrounded by family. She was born on October 31, 1935, in Versailles to the late Hallie and Victor Crowe. Shirley was a retiree from Texas Instruments and an active member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church. Shirley loved to cook for her family and friends and was known by many for her famous biscuits. Shirley was a devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dean Roberts. In addition to her husband she is survived by, her son James E (Kim) Roberts, Lexington; her daughter Tammy (Jay) Reynolds, South Carolina; her son Hal (Diane) Roberts, Versailles; her sisters Ethel Walling, Gloria Lewis, and Vickie Davis; her grandsons Brandon (Amanda) Roberts, Gabriel (Veronica) Roberts, Jay (Brittany) Reynolds III, and granddaughter Tabitha Roberts; granddaughter in love Heidi McGinnis; and great-grandchildren Delanie, Alex, and Layla Roberts; Harper Roberts; MaryAnn and Ellie Mae Reynolds; Gunner, Bo, and Hunter Grace McGinnis; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan, and grandson Daniel Reynolds. Services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, November 26, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Pastor Tony Hatton will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the start of service at the funeral home.
