Shirley Irene (Geesaman) Underwood went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m., surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s of several years. She was born November 27, 1932 in Pennsylvania and after having four children, moved to Colorado. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her five children, unselfishly, with abounding joy and unconditional love. She loved to sing and worship the Lord. Shirley worked at Kodak and retired after 19 years. She is survived by her five children, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Shirley’s family is planning an intimate celebration of her life at a later date. Friends may leave condolences at adamsoncares.com.
