Sidney William "Sid" Pulliam, Sr.

To view the funeral service, please click here TribuCast Sidney William “Sid” Pulliam, Sr., 76, of Kernersville passed away peacefully Saturday, December 30, 2023. A native of Greensboro, NC, Sid was the loving husband of 44 years to the late Margaret Apple Pulliam and the son of Benjamin Samuel Pulliam and Alberta Coltrane Pulliam, both deceased. Sid was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Survivors include his sons, Wil Pulliam and wife, Wendy of Kernersville, NC, and Ben Pulliam and wife, Melanie of Kernersville, NC; grandchildren, Taylor Pulliam, Grace Pulliam, Cassidy Williams and husband, Tyler, and Olivia Pulliam; sister, Jerri Hawk; and niece, Wendy Deck. Sid owned his own sign business “SIDCO” for several decades. He was an accomplished pinstriper, hand sign painter, and graphic artist whose artwork is on many vehicles all over the area. Sid was also an avid drag racer. His passion for racing led him to being inducted into Farmington Dragway Wall of Fame in 2021. Sid loved his wife, family and friends and he enjoyed his daily gathering at the Kernersville McDonalds each morning. He will be truly missed. SEMPER FI! Funeral services celebrating Sid’s life will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Don Martin officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00PM to 3:00PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
