Smitra Shori-Singh, 78, a resident of Yuba City for 58 years, died January 12, 2014. A native of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, Smitra worked for the University of British Colombia before moving to California. She clerked for 20 years in Yuba and Sutter County Superior Courts. Predeceased by her husband Kirpal Singh, Smitra is survived by her children Saunthy Nicolson-Singh, Randall, Marcus and Azad; grandchildren Reshan, Esmé
