Sondra Black

 Sondra Lee (Cookie) Black  After a long illness, Cookie passed away peacefully at home early Sunday morning July 22, 2018.  Cookie was born December 26, 1940 in Brooklyn New York. She spent her 20's and 30's marring and raising her 4 children in East Rockaway New York In 1973 the station wagon was loaded up and driven cross country to move to Albuquerque. It was a rocky first few years to include a divorce and several moves throughout the city. She then met Dave, the love of her life. They married August 7th, 1976. They lived a very adventures life moving to Aruba, Corpus Christi, Rockport and Port Aransas Texas. Las Vegas Nevada, and then retiring back here in Albuquerque. Cookie was a social butterfly making lasting friends everywhere she was. Cookie is survived by a brother Larry Moskowitz. Niece Michelle (Olivier) Saidi of New York. Her long-time care giver and loving husband William (Dave) Black. Children Jeannie (Cliff) Byer, Beth (David) Morris, Greg Kaufman (Cherish and Patrick Mullins) David (Ana) Kaufman. Her grandchildren Andrea (Jason) Wagenblast, Andrew Byer (Fiance Sheila Perkins) Jesse Kaufman, Jordan Morris, Johnnie Kaufman. Her Great grandchildren Dusty, Hailey, Avery and Easton Wagenblast. Cremation is being handled by Riverside Funeral Home, where online condolences can be left. Private family gathering will be held at a later date.
