Sondra Schofield Link of Fort Collins died May 1, 2022. She was born in Denver, Colorado to Benjamin and Dorothy Schofield on March 1, 1939. She was chosen valedictorian of her class (1956) at Powell High School, Wyoming, and continued her education by enrolling at Northwest Community College in Powell where she met her future husband, Adam Link. They were married on March 1, 1957 and moved to Fort Collins in 1958. Sondra volunteered at O’Dea Elementary School and later worked part time as a teacher’s aide for three years, but her continuing interest was in her family. She enjoyed needle arts, cooking and reading. She is survived by her husband and their children Michael (Lena), Matthew, Jonathan (Maura), and Elisabeth. She was the grandmother of Jonathan Jr (Lindsay), Jason (Shelby), Joseph (Natalie), and Marissa (Jeremy) and great grandmother of Jonah, Beckham, and Addison. She was preceded in death by her parents and half-sister Hazel Merle. No services are scheduled.
