Sophie Marie Logan

Sophie Marie Logan, age 53, a resident of Edgewood, passed away on August 8, 2020. Sophie was a loving wife, devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Sophie was a beautifully talented soul who enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. She is described by family and friends as loving, faithful, committed, and kindhearted. She will be remembered as a wonderful conversationalist and the best listener with a heart of gold. Sophie Marie was born on January 2, 1967 in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by Elaine Logan; beloved mother-in-law, Santiago and Espiridiona; loving Nana and Tata, Magdalena Anaya-Rehberg and Paulita Saavedra; cherished aunts. Sophie Marie is survived by James Logan; her loving husband of 21 years. She also leaves behind Sofia E. Anaya; her mother, and siblings; Santiago Anaya, Che Herrera, Kristina and husband Jared Bowman. She also leaves behind five children; Sonya and husband Daniel Dominguez, June and husband Andrew Fowner, Donald Baca, Fabian Baca, Christopher Garcia and wife Nicole; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews. Our family would like to thank friends and family for all of your prayers and support. The family is eternally grateful for the love and compassion the staff at Presbyterian Hospital showed our loved one during this time. Services for immediate family will be at St. Anne's Catholic Church on August 27, 2020. Rosary will be at 8:20 a.m. with Funeral services at 9:00 a.m. Burial will directly follow. She will spend eternal rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of attendance due to the health epidemic, cards of well wishes are very welcome.
