Spencer Eugene Arthur

Obituary Spencer Eugene Arthur, son of Daniel Eugene Arthur and Cheryl Lynn (Beckerman) Arthur, was born March 14, 1987 in Hillsboro, Illinois. He was raised in Irving, IL, Gillette, WY, and Coeur d'Alene, ID. He passed away November 23, 2021 near Fort Collins, CO. Spencer is survived by mother, Cheryl Arthur of Hillsboro, IL, brother Perry Arthur of Fort Collins, and grandmother Lela Anne (Perry) Arthur of Jacksonville, IL. He was preceded in death by father Daniel Eugene Arthur, & grandfather Donald Eugene Arthur, both of Jacksonville, IL, great grandparents Daniel and Cora Perry of rural Meredosia, and grandparents Armour and Mary Louise(Foster) Beckerman of Hillsboro, Illinois. He attended Lake City H.S. Coeur d'Alene, ID where he was active in tech team, marching band, and CDA Youth Orchestra. He graduated in 2005. Spencer was employed by the Colorado Department of Transportation. Other employers included Ranchway Feeds of Fort Collins, Conveyabull, Decker Truck Lines, Williams Inland Distributors of Spokane, and United Drilling Service of Hayden, ID. Spencer enjoyed music, movies, and video games, working on Jeeps and Eurocars, camping, kayaking, hunting and fishing, photography, and spending time with friends, family, and his golden retriever, Libby. Vessey Funeral is in charge of arrangements, and friends are organizing simultaneous "Celebrations of Life" for Fort Collins, CO area and Coeur d'Alene, ID. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by many of us.
