Stanley "Simcha Ben Moishe V Leah" Saul Barbanell

Stanley Saul Barbanell, age 82, a resident of Las Vegas for over 20 years, died Saturday, January 30, 2016. Stanley was born April 13, 1933 in Brooklyn NY to the late Morris and the late Lily (Shamen) Barbanell. He served in the army and had a career in sales. Always fashion conscious, Stanley was a mentor for many in the area of men's fashion. Stanley was very involved in Young Israel Aish of Las Vegas and the Jewish War Veterans, where he was a Commander of Post 711. Stanley was a very proud Jew, loved Israel and the Jewish People. He enjoyed and appreciated learning Torah and watching others involve themselves in Torah study and other Jewish causes. As an avid world traveller, he would always visit the synagogues, kosher restaurants, and other Jewish sites. Stan would bring back stories and interesting facts to share with those he loved. Stanley is survived by his wife Tayalach Barbanell and many friends. He is predeceased by his brothers Sidney and Eugene. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 10:40 AM at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
