March 14th, 1937 - November 23rd, 2014
Stanley J. "Staz" Bonczak, aged 77 years; of Mt. Ephraim; peacefully passed away on November 23, 2014 with his loving family by his side after a long illness. LEGACY Born in Philadelphia, Staz was raised in Blenheim before his family relocated to Mt. Ephraim where he would live for the rest of his life. Staz attended Audubon High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After his discharge from the Military, Staz returned home and worked for Acme Markets for 45 years where he was a Retail Clerk & Bakery Manager and at the Honey Dew Inn in Oaklyn as a Bartender where he fostered many friendships that have lasted through the years. Away from work, Staz enjoyed working in his yard, reading a good book and traveling. He was fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit Europe two times in his life; visiting England, France, Italy, Spain and Poland where his ancestry originated. He had a heart of gold and never let the opportunity to brighten the day of someone special to him with a unique gift or card to remember a holiday or birthday. Staz will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. FAMILY Staz is the cherished brother of Richard J. & Amelia (nee Borda) Bonczak; beloved Voja Staz to Richard & Judi (nee Owen), Christina Marie Bonczak and Lisa (nee Bonczak) & Bill Coulter; great Voja Staz to Richard III, Anthony Joseph & Michael William. Staz is predeceased by his parents Stanley & Sophie (nee Daniszewski) Bonczak FAREWELL CEREMONY Relatives and friends are kindly invited to join Staz's family for his viewing Friday evening after 6:30 PM and Saturday morning after 8 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in Sacred Heart R. C. Church, Black Horse Pike & Kings Highway, Mt. Ephraim, NJ. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in New Saint Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, Bellmawr.
