Stanley J. Gibbs (Gibowicz), 91, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice House. Stanley was born in West Deerfield, Massachusetts, the tenth child of twelve, and was a Marine veteran of WW II. Stanley was a dairy farmer before moving here 27 years ago. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who was loved by all they met him. Stanley was an animal whisperer and great gardener. Stanley is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann Gibowicz of Cape Canaveral; grandchildren, Shawn Murray of Germany, Stanley Murray of Massachusetts, and Angelique Mador of California; also a sister Mary Sockoloski of Greenfield, Massachusetts and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Gibowicz and his wife Marilyn, January 24th, 2005 of Charlemont, Massachusetts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday December 2nd at Church of Our Saviour in Cocoa Beach with military honors . Donations may be made to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice or to Church of Our Saviour.
