Stanley W Groves

Stanley W. Groves, 67, of Ft. Morgan, Formally of Eaton, passed away on February 6, 2019 after battling cancer for almost 2 years. He was born on August 4, 1951 in Denver, Colorado. He raised and adopted by James and June (Johnson) Groves. He attended and graduated from Eaton High School and attended Kemper Military School. Stanley loved working with his hands, he enjoyed woodworking and farming. He also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. In his later years, he started getting into PC gaming and loved playing RuneScape and watching Western movies, anything with Clint Eastwood. He loved to travel and has visited many countries around the world. Stanley is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Jeremy (Melanie) Groves, Brandy Cooley, Amery (Brandon) Hernandez, Haleigh Groves (Matthew Sprunk) and Dylan Groves;six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Michelle (Randy) Willmott. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathleen Groves. Donations made be made out in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home for AIM at Melanoma Foundation on Stanley’s behalf. Life Celebration Memorial will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley, Colorado.
