Stanley Oscar Sharpe, Sr., 80, of Lexington, SC, passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on October 1, 2023. He was born July 13, 1943, in Red Bank, SC, to Oscar Henry Sharpe and Lillian Harmon Sharpe. Stanley spent most of his life in construction and was a devoted husband, father, and PaPa. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed working in his yard and garden, coaching softball, woodworking, hunting, and fishing. One of his greatest loves, beside his family, was southern gospel singing. Stanley was known for his deep bass voice and sang with various groups and quartets throughout his lifetime. Most of all, Stanley loved his Lord. He is also survived by his three children: Stan Sharpe, Jr. (Dottie) of Lexington, Sonya Bostic (Maurice) of Lexington, and Stephanie Noggle (Scott) of Aiken, SC. His grandchildren are Kendall Noggle, Kaylee Noggle, Halee Munsch, Heather Williams, Elizabeth Rohde, and David O’Quinn, as well as eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
