Stephanie Riley King

KING, Stephanie Riley, 56, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla. transitioned from this life to the glory of the next on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Dozens of friends and family were with her in her last days, along with the wonderful support staff at HPH Hospice. She was born in Shelby, Ohio, spent 30 years in Virginia and the last 20 years in Florida. Stephanie was the property manager for 12 years with Waterford Construction. She enjoyed spending time with her family, boating, going to the beach, cruising to the islands of the Caribbean, shopping, drinking wine with her girlfriends and just enjoying life. She was an inspiration to countless people who admired her strength, courage and self-sacrifice as she gave to others even as she lived with cancer. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert D. and Elsie Riley. She is survived by her husband, Marling L. King; two sons, Christopher M. Lloyd and Jason M. King and his wife, Milissa; daughter, Dana K. Burton and her husband, Daryl; two sisters, Patty Wray and her husband, Howard and Debbie Holleman and her husband, Jerry; three beautiful grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Stephanie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13th at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPH of Pasco/Hernando in memory of Stephanie R. King.
