Dear Bernie, Melanie, Michael and Leslie: I am sorry to hear about the passing of Stephanie. My memories of her are when I spent a week at Bernie and Stephanie's house in Albuquerque when the twins were born. Stephanie treated me like a queen - doing special things for me. She and Bernie took me to Old Town and my first visit ever to "31 Flavors Ice Cream!" I also remember Bernie and Stephanie's wedding. Beth and I were flower girls. Stephanie gave us each a beautiful Star of David necklace that I still wear. I think of her every time I wear it. I hope that your fond memories of Stephanie will bring you comfort in the days and years ahead. She has left a lovely legacy in you. Love, Ellen

I am so sorry to hear this news. I also have wonderful memories of my Aunt Stephanie. I remember being a flower girl when she married my Uncle Bernie...the live band especially! I remember when she took in a stray dog and then arranged secretly with my Mom to give the dog to our family. I also remember the beautiful cakes she used to decorate. May your fond memories comfort you in these difficult times.
