Kernersville-Stephanie “Stevie” Ann Taylor, 67, passed away March 29, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00PM Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Paul Dechant, O.S.F.S. officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Oaklawn Memorial Park. A native of Denver, Colorado, Stevie was the daughter of the late Anacletus Elizabeth Carroll and Robert Olsen. She graduated from Platte Canyon High School in Bailey, Colorado, and later received her Associate’s Degree in Business. She was retired from Brookside Montessori School in Kernersville. Survivors include her loving husband of 29 years George Taylor of the home; daughters Crystal Greer and Dana of Crosby, TX, Roseana Kraft of the home, Spring Varra and Jake of Nunn, CO, Autumn Smith and Chad of Kernersville, and Shylo Harris and Derek Swanson of Reidsville; sons Chris Balderston and Sheri of Kernersville, and Charles Balderston and Somer of Belews Creek; thirty-one grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers Richard Hamblen and Thomas Hamblen; sister Denise Bond; and numerous extended family and friends. A Wake Service will be held 6:00PM Tuesday evening March 31, 2015 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Friends and family will visit until 8PM following the Wake Service on Tuesday.
