Stephen Perry Ash
December 17th, 1947 - March 6th, 2016
Stephen Perry Ash was born on December 17th, 1947 and died peacefully with his beloved family by his side on March 6th, 2016. He is predeceased by his mother, Norma Ash and father, Raymond Ash. He is survived by his life partner of 44 years, Crissy Ash, his three children: Michael Ash (daughter-in-law Kari Jo Ash), Patricia Ash Moore (son-in-law Dr. William Moore) and John Ash, and his five grandchildren: Ava, Lillian, and John George Ash, and Stephen and Matthew Moore. Stephen was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. He graduated from Palo Verde High School where he was a competitive gymnast. He went to the University of Arizona where he met and married Crissy, the love of his life. After college Stephen had a successful career as a real estate investor and developer. Stephen was a humble, strong man who saved two lives during the course of his life. He saved a man who was choking and rescued a man from a burning house. In honor of his true character, Stephen's family will carry on his legacy of generosity and compassion, love of family, and goodness of heart. We say goodbye to our loving companion, father, papa and uncle. Rest in Peace Steve/Dad/Papa and Uncle Steve. We will always miss you, and you will remain in our memories and hearts forever. We are grateful for the extraordinarily compassionate care given to Stephen while he was hospitalized at University Medical Center Diamond ICU 3 West. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to them. A private family service will be held to honor Stephen. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Tucson Symphony or the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. Arrangements made by Adair Funeral Home, Dodge Chapel
