Stephen Carson Glover

Stephen Carson Glover, born September 30, 1949 in Killen, Alabama, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2019 in North Charleston, SC. He was predeceased in death by his father, Charles E. Glover, his mother, Doyce Stutts Smith, and a brother, Mickey Joe Glover. He is survived by his wife, Joan M. Glover, of Moncks Corner, SC, his sisters, Vickie Wright (Glenn) of Killen, AL and Rhonda Palmer of Killen, AL, a brother, Charles Glover (Kathy), of Florence, Alabama, four step-children, Tina Mason (Wendell) of Moncks Corner, SC, Kelly Foster (Larry) of Franklin, TN, Victoria Tilman (Rocky) of Bonneau, SC and James Ford (Alisha) of Rio Rancho, NM. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Brandon McCaw, Kristie Mason, Julie Capps, Austin and Emily Ford, three great-grandchildren, Marley, Mason and Maverick Capps, several nephews and nieces who he loved dearly. Steve loved to travel and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid Alabama football fan and was never at a loss of words on Saturdays during the college football season - "Roll Tide". He served six years in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority and Kroger Grogery. He was a member of New Covenant Church of God, which he loved dearly and where he served as an usher and member of the security team. Steve was a kind, generous man and in his last act of generosity donated his organs through Sharing Hope SC. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at New Covenant Church of God located at 2801 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC 29418. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to New Covenant Church of God in his memory.
