Stephen Perry Harless

Stephen Perry Harless, 66, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Indian Path Medical Center. Stephen is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Harless; parents, Henry and Louise Harless; and sisters, Loretta Morelock and Sue Hollinger. Stephen is survived by his wife, Venus Murray; sons, Joshua Harless, Zackary Harless, and Chase Harless; grandchildren, Attia, Edan, and Ava Harless; brother, Ray Harless; special niece, Bridgette Johns; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Lawrence Wolfe officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Lawrence Wolfe officiating. Those wishing to follow in procession are asked to meet at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport at 10am. Pallbearers will be Adam Watts, Adam Phillips, Adam Vollrath, Charlie Hollinger, Don Harless, and Matthew Stapleton. Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport is serving the Harless Family.
