November 30th, 1964 - August 8th, 2015
Stephen M. Jackson, 50, of Tremont Avenue, Amsterdam died peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady following a brief illness. A lifelong area resident, Stephen was the son of the late Allen Jackson and Mary Lou Kubas Warnick. He attended local schools and was a laborer for Liberty Enterprises. Stephen was an avid Mets and NE Patriots fan. He enjoyed playing guitar and loved to impersonate Elvis. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his beloved father, Allen Jackson, Lic. Funeral Director. Survivors include his wife, Diana Dillenbeck Jackson; his mother Mary Lou Warnick; his maternal grandmother, Louise Kubas; two sisters, Tricia (Joe) Javarone and Meredith (Chad) Fancher; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his Liberty family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10 o'clock at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Sandflats, Fonda. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening from 4 until 7p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Allen Jackson Scholarship Fund or the charity of one's choice. Please visit the online memorial at www.brbsfuneral.com
