Sterling Roy Becker, Jr.
October 4th, 1968 - June 17th, 2023
Sterling Becker Jr. passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2023 in Boise, ID at the age of 54. Sterling was born in San Jose, California on October 4, 1968 to Sterling Sr. and Jacquelyn (Stoken) Becker. He was then joined by his younger brother William “Billy” and sister Nicole Becker. They lived in Santa Clara, California until moving to Brookings Harbor, Oregon in 1970. Sterling graduated from Brookings Harbor High School in 1987 and continued his career working as an automotive technician. Sterling attended school to become an ASE certified technician, while working for a local business for over 10 years. On August 15, 1998, Sterling married his wife Alicia (Pearce) Becker and they made their home in Brookings, Oregon. Sterling then opened his own automotive shop in 2004 while also maintaining the local fleet of UPS trucks. When Sterling was not at the shop he enjoyed tinkering in his garage, collecting cars and trucks or anything he could fix up. In October 2010, Sterling retired to Boise, Idaho with his wife Alicia. Sterling is preceded in death by his parents: Sterling Sr. and Jacquelyn (Stoken) Becker. He is survived by his wife Alicia Becker; sister, Nicole (Kris) Becker-Ettner; brother, William “Billy” (fiancé Shawnie) Becker; niece Alexis “Lexii”; nephew, Mason Becker; and great-niece, Zoey Becker. Graveside services will be held at noon on July 7, 2023 at Ward Memorial Cemetery, Brookings, Oregon.

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
