Steve "PaPo" Benjamin

Steve Benjamin Sr. "PaPo" was called home suddenly to be with our Heavenly Father on January 3rd 2021. Steve was in the communications field for over 40 years. He truly enjoyed working with fiber optic, voice and data cabling. He was the designer of the T1 phone system for the state of New Mexico. He worked as a facility manager for UNM for several years and made many friends along the way. He loved camping and fishing, but most of all going out near Pie Town, NM to hunt. Let us not forget how much he liked Nascar. He always planned on retiring and moving to Florida to live one a houseboat and fish. Those left to cherish his memories are his son Steve Jr., wife Gloria, and their children Diego, Janessa, Allenna, and Uriah. His son Christopher, (Jolene) and their children Raymond, Nevaeh. His daughter Shaniece (Chad). His daughter Chyanne and husband John Gaylor their daughter Rosie Jo. Daughter Makayla (Noah). His sister Kim and Husband Mark Macaron. Although he was a man of few words, his smile was infectious. Steve will be missed by many but his memory will live on with us.
