Frankfort, KY Steve Coleman Lewis, 64, husband of Marcia Winkle Lewis, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016. A native of Frankfort, he was born on August 4, 1951 to the late Chester Coleman Lewis and Clarice Rogers Lewis. Steve was a master mechanic at Steve's Auto Service, and a veteran of the US Army. Known as a jack of all trades, but a master of none. His interests and hobbies included driving racecars, fishing, bowling, hunting, NASCAR, an avid UK fan, electrician, gardening, plumbing, yard sales, boating, and painting. In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by his son Steven (Millie) Lewis, Frankfort; grandson Eric Lewis, Lexington; brothers Gary (Bertha) Lewis, Owenton; Glenn (Diane) Lewis, New Port Richey, FL; brother-in-law's Barry (Debbie) Winkle; Kenny (Linda) Winkle; sister-in-law's Paula Satterwhite; Nanette (Jimmy) Miller; mother-in-law Nelba Haydon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his step brother David Rice. Funeral Information A celebration of Steve's life will be held 7:00pm Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Todd Lester will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday from 4:30pm until the start of the service at the funeral home.
