November 10th, 1963 - June 5th, 2024

Steven ‘Steve’ Dwayne Anderson

Steve was born on November 10, 1963 and left this world on June 5, 2024. Originally from San Jose, CA, he relocated to Colorado Springs in 1981.

A standout in the world of bowling, Steve's skill on the lanes shone brightly throughout the 1980s and 1990s, earning him recognition and respect. Beyond bowling, he found success as a business owner, first of ACME pawn shop and then moved on to owning Springs Auto Sales, dedicating three decades to serving his community with honesty and excellence. He was the ‘go to’ guy for anything and everything. He was known as the person who was always there to lend a helping hand, in the most selfless way.

Steve cherished his role as a father, guiding and supporting his beloved son Shawn alongside Alyssa. He was a devoted brother to Sandy and a cherished uncle to Becky, Jayme, Jeremy, Caryn, Sierra, Andrew, Stacy, Kivan, Kaden, Kyle, Olivia, and Gianna.

Steve's legacy is one of passion, perseverance, and profound love for his family and community. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.

A celebration of Steve's life will be 10:00AM, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 held at The Springs Funeral services in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
