Obituary Steven Paul Barr, 65, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on January 22, 2016. Steven Paul Barr, worked as a Butcher, Tinner, and a Counselor at the La Junta Boys Ranch in La Junta, Colorado. He wore many hats in his working career. Steve was a talented woodcarver and enjoyed owning many exotic animals over his lifetime. He had a great sense of humor. Steve was a kind, generous man. During his eight year battle with cancer, he never lost his sense of humor. Everyone around him was amazed how he faced death with dignity and never complained about his condition to include his hospice care givers. Steven Paul Barr was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita L. Barr (Dana); father, Kenneth S. Barr; brother, James M. Barr; and wife, Rebecca Broyles. He is survived by his sister, Janice E. Barr; nephew , Patrick Hofstedt; son, Glen Florea; daughter, Vanessa Broyles; and grandchildren, Amanda Florea, Kenneth Florea, and Addison Florea. We will all miss and love you.
