Steven Dale Batchelor

Steven Batchelor lived a life of love and that love came from Christ. He passed away from this life on earth to eternal glory with Jesus on May 15th, 2018. In any amount of time spent with Steve, there was one thing that could not be missed: his deep love for Christ that poured out into his love for everyone around him. He said that cancer drew him closer to Christ and pushed him to write his book “Don’t Miss Love”. Jesus said in Mark 12:29-31, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” No other commandment is greater than these.” Steve loved the Lord and he viewed the world as his neighbor and truly loved. May you see love in a real way. “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us us from God’s love. Neither death not Life, neither angles, nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 Don’t Miss Love.
