March 27th, 1950 - August 15th, 2021
Steve Bender was a beloved husband, father, papa and friend. Steve was a Colorado native, born March 27th, 1950 and passed away August 15, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary WG Bender. He is survived by his wife Tami, daughters April (Dan) Lahr, Stephanie Bender, son Christopher Bender and 2 wonderful grandsons, Jacob and Connor, who he loved so much. Brother Joe (Patti) Bender, sisters Sherry Durrell and Laura (Rick) Fleming. Steve served in the Navy for 6 years and retired from K&A Engineering as a Civil Engineer Technician in 2013. He loved camping, traveling and riding motorcycles. He belonged to the Gold Wing Road Riders Association where he made many friends and took countless, memorable trips. He was a Jack-of-trades, alway working on home projects but never hesitating to help others. Steve will be truly missed by all. We love you!
