Steven Thomas Bennett

Leesburg, TX – Steven Thomas Bennett, 64, formally of Owenton, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020. He was born in Owenton on May 14, 1956 to the late Roy Kenneth and Ella Rose Hawkins Bennett. He was a self-employed carpenter and truck driver. Steven enjoyed giving guided personal fishing trips and loved fishing at Lake Fork. He was a wonderful dad and person. He is survived by his children, Stephanie Thompson, OH, Johnny Bennett, TX, and Amanda (James) Terry, Frankfort; his sister, Janet Scott, Columbia; and his grandchildren, Blane, Ella Rose, Jacob, James, Jailynn, Austin, Jaylee, Jessalyn, Landon, Katelynn, and George. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven T. Bennett, Jr., and his brother, Johnny Bennett. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local alcohol and substance abuse programs. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
