Nitardy Funeral Homes - Whitewater
Steven Marshall Brahm
December 8th, 1959 - March 2nd, 2024
Steve Brahm, 64, of Raymond, passed away on Saturday March 2, 2024, at Ascension All Saints Racine. Born on December 8, 1959, he was the son of the late Merlyn “Terry” and Barbara Brahm. He was a maintenance supervisor for Oakbrook Corporation for 25 years until his retirement in 2017. Steve enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and camping. He loved traveling whether it was a cruise, trip to Florida or a good old fashioned road trip. He was a firm believer that time spent crammed in a car for 1200 miles was always quality family time. He also enjoyed eating toast in the morning with Bella (The dog he never wanted). He is survived by his loving wife, June; two children, Katrina “Katie” Poetz; Marshall (Natalie) Brahm; three granddaughters, Anabelle Brahm, Ava Brahm and Scarlett Brahm; two brothers, Jeff (Sue) Brahm, Jim (Kathy) Brahm; a sister, Suzie (Andy) Czysz; and a sister in-law, Sharon Bowen-Bean. He is further survived by other loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marshall and Irene Albrecht; father and mother in-law, Richard and Waunita Bowen; sister in-law, Terri (Scott) Sammons; brothers in-law, Ricky Bowen and John Bowen and a grandson lost during pregnancy, Ellis. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ICU Unit Staff at Ascension All Saints and DaVita Harbor View Dialysis. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Raymond Town Hall, 2255 76th Street Franksville, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital. Steve will be tremendously missed by his family, but his jokes will live on. In famous Steve fashion, “That man had nine lives and he just spent them all”.

Nitardy Funeral Homes - Whitewater
We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community since 1932, when our founder Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. We feel very fortunate to continue serving the community three generations later. In 2007, we constructed our first funeral home in Whitewater. Here, our mission is the same as it has been for over 90 years: help walk our community through times of grief and provide beautiful and meaningful services to every family that walks through our doors. We are proud that Whitewater families trust us to take care of their loved ones....
