Steven Aurther Craig

March 26th, 1964 - April 21st, 2024

On March 26, 1964 Steven Craig of Rapid City SD was born to a proud father and mother Henry and Sally (Stumer) Craig.

Be it stuck on a computer or the gift of a cool gadget, he truly enjoyed helping others, all anyone had to do was ask, and he was there.

Steven was talented in many ways; Gunsmithing, land surveying, programming slot machines, and his favorite; building computers. In 2005 he joined Homeland security and worked in the IT department during Katrina, one more way for him to be of help to others.

In January of 2003 Steven met Jessica Manzano, and his heart was gone forever. On November 21, 2003 they began their journey together as husband and wife.  In 2004, they relocated from South Dakota to Mississippi, and in 2019 moved to Arizona. For 19 years, he never failed to display his love and  admiration for his sweetheart.

However, on April 21, 2024 at the young age of 60, Steven was called home and his physical journey here came to a close.

Loved by his family, friends and neighbors, Steven is survived by his forever love Jessica (Manzano) Craig, a wonderful daughter Taarna Murray, a loving mother Sally Broucek, siblings; sister Scheri and husband Richard Biehler, brother Scott Craig, stepsister Robin and husband Mike Miller, stepbrother Brian Broucek. Nieces and nephews; Alicia, Sheena, Josh, Michael, Trey and Channing and Cary Williams his close friend from Mississippi.

Not all family are blood related. Steven was truly blessed to have such a friend, and brother through thick and thin, none more so than in Tracy Wiest, his truest and most loving lifelong childhood friend.

And let's not forget his beloved pooches that accompanied Steven throughout his life's journey; Sandy, Zeus, Moxie, Trixie, Dixie, and Zoie.

Steven was preceded by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles, his father Henry, and his stepfather Don.

Remember, just because the driver left the car, doesn't mean the driver is gone too. Miss you Teetsie (I was two and couldn't pronounce Steven), we will see you again someday.

Love, Scott.
