Steven (Steve) Cuellar, 84, was called home in the early morning March 17, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. He was born and raised in San Diego, CA to Pedro and Estonia Cuellar Jan 25, 1940. He was the oldest of 4 children. Later he moved to Oregon to peruse a railroad career. He worked as a conductor/brakeman for the Union Pacific Railroad and was voted in as the president of their local union. While working there he made many lifelong friends and retired after over 34 years of service. For a change of scenery, he moved to Idaho where he began his diesel coach driving adventure with Caldwell Transportation where he enjoyed driving bus for over 30 years. He especially enjoyed driving motor coach for the College of Idaho Yotes, Caldwell Rec Center, and various other activities and tours that took him all over the United States & Canada. He also enjoyed driving a special needs bus with his wife Beverly. Steve has 2 children from his first marriage. Steve married the love of his life, Beverly Bale in 1993. And from this union Steve gained an extended family with leaps and bounds. Together they enjoyed the oldies cruises, and many, many coach charters. He enjoyed golfing, a little gambling, occasionally a good cigar, and a cold beer. He was well loved by his family, friends, coworkers, and passengers on his coach tours. Steve is survived by his wife Beverly of 30 years, brother Sal Cuellar, sister Esther Majomut, daughter Angie Cuellar, son Mike (Kayla) Cuellar, grandsons Tanner, Tucker, and Colter Cuellar, extended family: daughter JoAnn Rambow, grandchildren Jimmy, Aviana, and Lucus Rambow, many nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters in-laws. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother Richard Cuellar.
