He is preceded in death by his father Robert C. Hendrix and niece Jill Hendrix Kelley; great niece, Kensey Kelley. Anyone who met Steve, probably referred to him as Dad, because being a dad was his greatest joy in life and it describes who he was. He went to great lengths to do anything his kids needed, whether it be making the most creative cakes you have ever seen, singing Mary Poppins songs, or learning wrestling facts to keep up in conversation. He was a devoted son, loving father, faithful brother, and a loyal friend. He never met a stranger and always had a smile for anyone that would walk by. He had a thirst for knowledge that could never be quenched and loved to debate just for the sake of it. He was an avid UK basketball and St. Louis Cardinals fan, and still make time to watch Gilmore Girls daily. Steven was one of the most sincere people you could ever meet and he had a profound influence on anyone that knew him. Funeral Information Private family services were held.
