Steven Lee Knebel
July 12th, 1951 - August 2nd, 2024
Steven Lee Knebel, a lifetime resident of Eugene, Oregon passed away August 2, 2024, at the age of 73.
Growing up in Eugene, Steve attended South Eugene High School and graduated in 1968. He went on to graduate from the University of Oregon.
Steve met his wife, Julie, working in the family grocery store.
Steve enjoyed many outdoor activities and sports, his favorites being dirt-bike riding, skiing and camping trips with friends.
Steve bought a ’63 Triumph TR-4 at the age of 19, which he drove and tinkered with all his life.
He is survived by his wife Julie, his daughter Carrie, and his son-in-law Corey, as well as his grandsons Caden and Crew. He is predeceased by his son Jeff.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for August 17th at 2:00pm and Central Lutheran Church in Eugene.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National MS Society, or your local animal shelter.
