Steven Byron Taylor

Steven Byron Taylor passed away on August 25, 2018 after a courageous fight with colon cancer. He was born in Flushing, New York and moved to Florida at a young age. He grew up in Lantana, Fl. and graduated from Santaluces High School. He lived in North Palm Beach and spent most of his career in IT. Most recently Steve worked for Florida Community Health Centers. He loved music and played numerous instruments including the guitar, saxophone, drums and keyboard and was mostly self-taught. His dream was to retire one day and be a musician on a cruise ship. He loved fishing, baseball and was an avid soccer fan, and spent time coaching a youth soccer team. Steve is survived by his son Steven, Jr., his granddaughters Madilyn and Millie, his mother Yvonne, his brothers Scott (sister-in-law Lori) and Chuck (sister-in-law Margie), and his niece and nephews Emma, Austin, Trey and Troy. He is preceded in death by his father Charles Ronald Taylor and his grandmother Corine White. The family would like to thank the numerous professionals and nurses at Moffitt Cancer Center and especially Lifepath Hospice for the care, comfort and support they provided Steve and his family.
