Stewart Allen Hall
July 5th, 1944 - August 27th, 2024
Stewart "Allen" Hall, 80, husband of Bonnie Hall, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in Nicholasville. Allen was born in Enterprise, Kentucky on July 5, 1944 to the late Stewart Henry Hall and Martha Esther Hall. Allen proudly served in the United States Army and went on to work in the railroad industry for 42 years. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the American Legion Post 63 in Nicholasville. His love for Drag Racing started at a young age, competing for most of his life and passing on the tradition through three generations in his family. Allen was also known to be a huge NASCAR enthusiast and UK basketball fan. Above all he loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife of almost 56 years, Bonnie, Allen is survived by his son, Duane (Shana) Hall; sisters, Patricia (Dan Reynolds) Vincent and Kathaleen Pickens; granddaughters, Kayla (Zach) Mincks and Katlyn Hall; great granddaughter, Sophia Mincks; brother-in-law, Jim (Judy) Fultz; and sister-in-law, Carolyn (Bill) Burton.
In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by four sisters, one brother, and a sister-in-law.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 7pm at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville. Visitation will be from 5pm till the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mr. Stewart Allen Hall to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 1733 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40504.
