On Tuesday, September 29, 2020, Sue Myong Cox, peacefully passed away at age 70. Sue was born on September 15, 1950 in Seosan, Korea to Yong Hee Kim and Kyong Le Pak. After she met and married Jim Cox, she moved to the United States in 1973 where she was an officer's wife, a homemaker and stay-at-home mother to her two children, Carolyn and Bobby. Sue was an independent soul that had a carefree way about her. She had a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile that would light up a room. She also had a passion for plants with a green thumb like no other and loved to tend her garden. She spent her time with family and close friends and loved her grandchildren dearly. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her children, Carolyn Haley (Chris) and Bobby Cox (Brook), and her three grandchildren, Bobby, Mikel, and Olivia. A private celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, October 18th, 2020. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in her memory or make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
