Kernersville-Sue H. Memory, 61, died November 17, 2013 following a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Wednesday November 20, 2013 at Kernersville Moravian Church with Pastor Ray Mims and Rev. Donald Winters officiating. Interment will follow in God’s Acre at the church. A native of Randolph County, Sue was the daughter of the late Ester Jessie Beane and William Howard Hughes, Jr. She was a graduate of Asheboro High School and Lees McRae College. She was a legal assistant with Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton. She was a longtime member of Kernersville Moravian Church. She always enjoyed her beach trips with her family to Parker’s Point at Ocean Isle Beach, Appalachian State Football, and Jessica’s dog “Lucy”. Survivors include her loving husband of 27 years Jim Memory of the home; daughter Jessica Memory of Winston-Salem; sisters Billie Parks and Larry of Mebane, and Jane Wright and Don of Trinity; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church on Wednesday.
