Susan Deborah Anderson

Susan Deborah Anderson died after a nearly 5 year battle with Stage 4 Endometrial Cancer at North Colorado Medical Center on November 13, 2019 in Greeley CO at the age of 66. Susan is survived by her only daughter Susan (Otis Ross) Michelle Anderson-Smith, two grandsons; Jordan and Jaiden Smith all of Greeley and two other grandsons through marriage, Jaxon and Jace Smith of Libby, Montana, and one sister Linda (Hoot) Pearson of Des Moines, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her husband John Alfred Anderson and her parents. Susan was born on July 7, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Myron and Helen (Doulias)Hoot. Susan spent 35 years as a homemaker to her family. She enjoyed playing scratch tickets, gambling, family vacations, fishing, and spending time with her grandsons. She also enjoyed spending time with Candice Navarette and Otis Leon Smith who also served in care giving. Susan battled her cancer for nearly 5 years, endured several rounds of chemo and treatments and always embraced the fight with cheerful smile and occasional middle finger. She will be remembered for her strength. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her could relate that no matter how difficult the situation was to remain strong and hopeful. A private family service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO. She will be laid to rest with her husband John Alfred Anderson. Friends may leave condolences at AdamsonCares.com
