Susan Elaine Hawes-Eisele
March 15th, 1951 - March 31st, 2015
Sue was born on March 15, 1951 at Fort Riley Kansas to Dale Montandon and Helen Titus. She was the second of nine children. She also spent some time overseas as a young child while her father served in the U.S. Army. She attended Gresham High School. Sue became a mom at the young age of 17 giving birth to her son Dennis in 1968. In 1973 she gave birth to her second child Glenda. She is survived by children - Dennis Boyd and Glenda Cox; Siblings - Victor Montandon, Cheryl Entwisle, Debbie Ellis, Cari Lepley, and Jeffrey Shoemake; Grandchildren - Kelsey Tungate and Jonathan Boyd. Sue worked for Kaiser Permanente for over 26 years, her last years as a Financial Counselor in their Beaverton clinic. She loved working for Kaiser and had a very special place in her heart for many of her co-workers through the years. More than anything, Sue valued family. She absolutely adored her two very special grandchildren and made sure they always felt the love she had for them. Everyone who ever met Sue heard her brag about, saw pictures, or got to meet her grandchildren. She was an amazing mother and was always there for both her children. Sue always loved to cook, even catering many weddings and events for family and friends through the years. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, camping, hunting and just being surrounded by family and friends. She could often be found having breakfast at Biscuits restaurant watching her granddaughter work. She enjoyed attending her grandson's baseball games with her family. A dog lover, through the years she enjoyed the companionship of many family dogs; Tanner, Bear, Rusty, Milo and Blue. After relatively short marriages to both of her children's fathers, Sue married Clifford Hawes in 1976 and was widowed in 1992. She later remarried to Gordon Eisele of Newberg. Service Information
