Susan Magnhild Molloy
November 19th, 1933 - December 4th, 2011
Born November 20, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the third daughter of George and Mimi Morgan, Susan departed from this life on Sunday, December 4, 2011 due to injuries suffered in a car accident. She attended schools in Milwaukee; Sitka and Anchorage, Alaska; Annie Wright Seminary in Tacoma, Washington; and graduated from Queen Anne High School in Seattle in 1951. She attended Mill College in Oakland, California, and graduated from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, with a BA degree in Chemistry. She taught junior high math and science for 6 years in Norfolk, Virginia, and in Charleston and Elkins, West Virginia. Susan moved to Lynnwood in 1968 from Memphis, Tennessee, and taught junior high math and science in the Mukilteo School District for 27 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa, international womens education sorority. She sang in the choir at Edmonds United Methodist Church for 43 years. Susan was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister Nancy Riley, sister Aleece Otto, brother-in-law Chris Otto, and nephew Bill Otto. Survivors include her sons, David (Rachel) Molloy and Scott (Tracy) Molloy and her beloved grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, and Angela Molloy. Also nephew, David (Sharyn) Otto of Federal Way, and nieces Karen Roberts and Leslie Riley of Houston, Texas. Announcement: In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be given to The American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association, or a charity of your choice.
