Susan Marie Ternus, 51, of Schuyler, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at her childhood home in Arvada, Colo. She was born March 23, 1961, in Denver. Survivors include her husband, Mark Edward; five sons, Dale Earl, Andrew Edward, Joshua Stephen and twins Taylor Paul and Tyler Scott; her mother, Nancy Zessin; two brothers, Scott (Lezlea) Zessin and Stephen (Michael) Zessin-Goodrich; and two sisters, Sheri Zessin-Goddard and Sarah (Todd) Hogue. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Zessin; her paternal grandparents, George and Hulda Zessin; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Eva Larson; and a niece. Memorial services were held Friday, Aug. 31, at Peace Lutheran Church in Arvada. A memorial service will be held in Schuyler at a later date.
