She was born April 3, 1955, in Pocatello, Idaho to Calvin C. and Miriel (Talbot) Dredge of Malad, Idaho where she spent her childhood helping her father on their cattle ranch, playing sports in school and being involved in multiple clubs. She soon graduated from Malad High School in 1973 and went on to become a Cosmetologist, wife, mother, grandma & great grandma. Susanne was a beautiful person who was always put together. Her hair never changed, always big! That lead to multiple jokes from her kids and grandkids such as nicknames like Grannyfufu and Snooki. Her hair made it easy to find her in a crowd. She lived to entertain, she threw over the top Christmas parties that people talked about all year long. She made sure that every holiday her house was decorated from ceiling to floor along with every room. Her absolute joy was seeing her grandkids and their faces as they came to the house to visit. They soon learned that grandma Jones always had an amazing stash of candy in the candy drawer! You could always tell when Suz walked into the room, she had a presence like no one else. Her laugh and tight….long hugs are a common memory friends and family share. She was the perfect example of a grandma that is now a dying breed, she continued her family traditions and always tried to make EVERY family get together a huge event that revolved around making it fun for the grandkids and great-grandkids. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Val Jones (Meridian, ID.) Daughter, Cami Jones (Kuna, ID.), Son, Rustin (Stacey) Jones (Meridian, ID.),Daughter in law Heather (Richard) Jones (Melbourne, FL.) and Daughter, Megan (Matt) Wallace (Meridian, ID.). Sixteen Grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. As well as Bonus Mother, Alicia Dredge (Heyburn, ID.). Preceeded in death by her Father, Calvin Dredge, Mother, Miriel Butler, Sister, Miriam Montaga, and Son, Richard Jones.
