I'm going to miss grandpa Jim. I admit I never really felt that I had much in common with him, but looking back at all the times he and my Grandmother would take care of me, all the measures they took to make me feel comfortable with them, make me realize how good a person he was. My Grandfather was good to me, when he really had no obligation to be, and I think my biggest regret going forward in life is losing contact with him over these last few years. I don't know much about God and heaven, and I don't know that my Grandfather believed in such things, but if he is out there and he is listening, I just want him to know that I'm sorry.

My Uncle was a gentle soul. Always positive and encouraging. When people saw my last name, they often commented on a family member and living here in Colorado Springs with my Uncle Jimmy, people always had nice things to say about him. He was a person with great integrity. Always treated people with kindness and was a hard worker like his other brothers and sisters. He will be missed dearly, RIP Uncle Jimmy ~Tracy

Jake, We met your father in Yuma at Dan& Rayvern’s . We had a great time with him this winter.We had supper togeather several times.We went to Laughlin with Dan ,Ray & Jim we had such a good time .Your dad was so lucky on that trip, I (Sue) told him not to sit next to me because he was winning all that I was putting in,he just laughed at me. What a wonderful man , we realy enjoyed being with him. We were looking forward to going with him to Yuma & Laughlin again. God Bless You and Yours. Willie & Sue

To Jake, You don’t know us, but we met your father through Dan and Rayverne McKie. We spent a wonderful winter in Yuma Arizona with Dan, Ray, and your Dad. We got to know your Dad quite well, and learned what a wonderful man he was. We had many great times with him, from winning money in Mexico on the Super Bowl to just sitting around shotting the bull with him.
