Clara Susan Anderson, RN, better known as "Suzy" or "Nana" entered into life on April 18, 1958 in Colorado Springs, CO and entered into eternal life by the blood of Jesus on March 12, 2011, in Salinas, CA. Suzy attended King City High School. While working, Suzy went to the Salinas Adult School where she received her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate and went to work at Natividad Medical Center. While working at Natividad she went back to school to pursue her Licensed Vocational Nurse degree and graduated from Hartnell College. Suzy went to work at Natividad Medical Center and Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital as an LVN while pursuing her Registered Nurse Degree. After graduating again from Hartnell College she stayed at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and continued higher education through the University of Phoenix. A few years later Suzy returned to work at Natividad Medical Center as an RN in the float pool. She said her heart was there. A few years later she took a position at Hartnell College teaching the nursing students in the LVN program. Suzy was a much loved Mom, Nana, Nurse, Mentor and Instructor. She is survived by her loving husband James Anderson, her three children Christopher and Arthur Anderson and Jessica (Ebert) Bissett, daughter-in-law Tonya Anderson, five grandchildren Tyler, Riley, Brady and April Anderson and Bailey Bissett and one grandchild on the way, five Yorkshire Terriers and many friends and loved ones. Suzy was preceeded in death by her parents, Frank and Georgianna Doss, In-Laws Arthur and Gradie Anderson along with other family members. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 16 1pm at Echoes from Calvary Church at 1025 Post Drive Salinas, CA 93906 Donations can be made to Celebration Church of Salinas 1676 Georgetown Way Salinas, CA. 93906 (http://www.celebration churchsalinas.cc) and mark it in respect of Suzy Anderson, the Vision.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area.
