Tamara Rae Stuart, also known as Tamin Edwards, age 55, died on January 11, 2018 at her home in Chico, California following a long battle with breast cancer. Private graveside services are being arranged for a later date. Tamara was born on May 1, 1962 in Marysville, California to her parents, Jack R. Stuart and Sharron (Pyke) Kugel. She was raised in Oroville, California, and attended Oroville Union High School. Prior to her illness, she worked in the health care field as a care home attendant in Chico, California. Tamara was a beautiful woman who stood 5'11" tall and may be remembered as having had the title of Miss Oroville of 1981. Tamara is survived by her mother, Sharron (Pyke) Kugel, sisters Sandra G. Stuart and Kandice L. Leon, her nieces, Chalese Eggleston and Gabriella Leon, and nephews, Tyler Stevenson and Ryan Stevenson. In lieu of gifts, the family would deeply appreciate any donations you might wish to give be sent to the American Cancer Society and/or the National Institute of Mental Health (NIH).
