Tammy Michelle Chavis

"CHAVIS, Tammy Michelle, age 54, passed away peacefully with some of her many loved ones by her side, on September 20, 2021 in Lexington County. Born in Lexington, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jackie Eugene Chavis and Linda Spires Chavis. She graduated from Airport High School and was employed at Henry Schein Matrx Medical for 17 years where she touched many lives. She always enjoyed being with family and will be remembered for her unconditional love, upbeat personality, and her love of Prince. She is survived by her children, Todd Chavis (Katie Benefield) and Chelsea Stevenson (Jeremy Stevenson) and her grandchildren, Garnet Clancey, Olivia Chavis, Jack Chavis, Peyton Stevenson, and Baylee Stevenson. As well as her sisters, Jacqueline Hoover (Jeff Hoover), Lisa Anderson (Jon Anderson), Angela Thomas (Chris Thomas), Melissa Sprosty (Phil Sprosty) and her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Jackie Chavis and her dog, Sage Chavis. The memorial service will be held on September 24th, 2021 at 1:00PM at the City of Hope Worship Center at 1403 D Ave, West Columbia, SC 29169.
