Tammy Lucille (Hewitt) Hatfield

Tammy Lucille (Hewitt) Hatfield, 58, of Hernando, Florida passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital on September 11, 2021. She was born November 5, 1962, the daughter of James and Roberta (Tackett) Hewitt. Tammy was a native of New Bern, North Carolina before moving to the Hernando area from Valrico, Florida in 2010. In 1984, she married her loving husband, Harlen Hatfield, and together the two shared 38 years of love and happiness. Tammy was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, taking care of her grandchildren, and was a competitive gamer. Tammy is survived by her husband, Harlen; her children, Harlen Garettlee Hatfield, Timothy Dewayne Hatfield, and Elvis Aron Hatfield; siblings, Bobby-Earl Hewitt, Marie Thomas, Peggy Edman, Chester Hewitt, Duffy Mullins, Eva Tatom, Robbie Ranger, Myra Hewitt, and Patricia Cook; and grandchildren, Hailey Flory, Tianna Hatfield, Tyler Hatfield, Ellison Hatfield, Jace Hatfield, and Elizabeth Hatfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Brenda Qualls. A celebration of life for Tammy will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 18 at Hiers-Baxley, Timberridge Chapel (9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34481). A gathering will be held from 1:00pm until the time of the service and following the service until 4:00pm.
