Tana Sorum

Tana Sorum Tana Sorum of Eugene passed away after a short but courageous battle with Cancer on Saturday, August 1st. She was surrounded by loved ones on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Tana was born to the late Dan and Donna Brant of Eugene on April 13, 1957. Survivors include a daughter, Misty (Brant) Glaze, of Eugene, a son in law Paul Glaze and two much loved granddaughters, Sofia and Olivia. She is also survived by her Mother, Donna Brant of Eugene and two brothers, Terry Brant and Randy Brant both of Eugene and a large extended family. She was a proud born and raised Eugene native, where she supported local causes. She waitressed for 13 years, and then moved into the Medical office setting with 16 years at PacificSource and 9 years at Oregon Medical Group. Tana was a much loved coworker and friend. Tana was an avid reader and loved to live life to its fullest. She most loved the outdoors, time at the river and camping, hunting and fishing. Tana enjoyed gardening and was known for her beautiful backyard flowers, loved frogs and multiple trips to Mexico in which she loved spending time with friends and family. She was a selfless friend and would often put others needs before her own. Those who loved her did so for her passion of life, a vibrant smile, her colorful outlook and her kind heart. She is very missed by so many. Private family service to be held at Sears Cemetery in Cottage Grove. Please join the family in a Celebration of Life to be held at Northwood Christian Church, Springfield OR at 4:00 Sunday August 30th.
