Tanner Leslie Preston

Tanner Leslie Preston tragically left us on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the tender age of 30. Tanner and his twin brother Taylor were born on August 15, 1991, to Amy (Preston) Johnson and Derek Preston. Sadly, Derek also passed away a month later on October 30, 2021. Tanner leaves behind a loving family and fiancé that love him more than words can express. He also leaves behind many friends locally and those in his gaming circle who are scattered all around the world. Funeral arrangements are being managed by Curnow Funeral Home in Sumner, WA. A Farewell Party honoring his life will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2pm at The Historic Farmhouse 14. 11822 State Route 162 E Puyallup, WA 98374. The event will be under cover but outdoors. As Tanner was not a fan of formalities please dress comfortably and come as you are. The family encourages you to wear crocs, Seahawk’s gear, a T-Shirt with something funny, gaming, Star Wars, The Office, or your favorite band. Tanner would love that because that is how he rolled. We are hoping to have everyone share their stories of Tanner as these stories will be memories that we hold near and dear to our hearts forever. A private burial will be held on December 3rd, 2021, at The Sumner Cemetery located at 12324 Valley Ave E Puyallup, WA 98372 Flowers can be sent directly to the cemetery. Tanner will always be known for his enormous heart and his infectious laugh. He will be missed by many, and our hearts and lives will never be the same without him.
